Can I build this carport between my house and my property line?

We recommend that you call your local planning and zoning department and ask them what the rules are in your area.  Our experience is that you need to have a few feet left over, after the carport is built, all city's are a little different.

Do I need a site plan to build my carport?

Yes we have provided a site plan example for you to follow. After you have drawn up you’re site plan and decided where you want you’re carport or garage to be built ,then take it to your local planning and zoning department and ask them to approve your site plan. Once they have

accepted, you’re ready to order. (Link to site plan Example)

Can we build this carport in the Mountains to cover are R.V.?

Yes, Choosing the right design we can build anywhere.  This is another question; you will need to ask your planning and zoning department in the area you are going to build.  What are the wind and snow loads for this area?

What does live load and wind load refer too?

This is how much snow a carport will hold per square foot and how hard the wind blows.  Custom Carport's will need this information, so we can quote you the right price and suggest the right carport for your needs.
